| Bonjour! Firstly I want to apologize that I'm writing here in English, not in Francais. English and Polish, are the only languages I know... And I wouldn't like to offend you using Google Translate - I've seen how it worked when somebody tried to use Polish thanks Google Translate. I'm Linds, Polish brony, which passions are travelling and seightseeing (Already I have been in North and West Germany, London, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Austria without staying in Vienna and I've seen most of Poland). And just typical, 21-year-old student of logistics. I won't beat about the bush. In July I'm planning an Eurotrip. In my plans are Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Italy and Vienna. Unfortunately, because in Poland isn't easy to gain enough money, I must do my trip using hitch-hiking and asking for a piece of floor for 1-2 days to have where sleep. This isn't a bad option for me - it's coming to be a great adventure and living with residents of cities I'm going to see can teach me a little about city, country. I guess you know what I mean And who can help me in getting know the city better than person living in Paris? I really would like to come and see Paris (I was also thinking about Atlantic Ocean in really beautiful, unique French place, but I don't know about anyone, maybe you can recommend something?) and do other parts of my Eurotrip. For now I've got only a place in Berlin, I'm already talking with Dutch Bronies. So... can I ask any French Brony/Pegasister for help? |

| Hi there. I ain't living in Paris myself, so I won't be much help for you. Still, I wish you the better luck. Anyway, I suppose you're taking pictures as you travell, I hope it wouldn't be too much to ask you to put them on a topic somewhere around here as well as your impressions concerning the countries you've been to this far. I'd like to see these places and hear of them as I cannot go myself. Or could, but won't for now. |

| Welcome ! Just in case you don't understand what was writen in french as a reply to your introduction, it was mostly about the fact that our member "blaze" did not use the same message he has been using for almost every single people introducing themselves for quite a long time. Congratulations ! Fanch then said that "blaze" may not watch the show in non-dubbed version. And "blaze" replied that he has been doing so since season 3. Fanch apologized, and "blaze" answered that he even prefers the non-dubbed version of the show. Oh, by the way, many of our members never really watch the section of presentations. Thus, you have better chances to find what you want in sections like this one http://www.french-brony.com/f7-discussions-diverses-hors-mlp ( about various discussions that are not based on the show) or this one http://www.french-brony.com/f22-rencontres (meetings.) I hope you will find what you wanted. Oh, one last thing. You wrote : - Linds a écrit:

| Welcome.
Woaw, it's a great trip you're heading for.
By doing such a long road using hitch-hike and sleeping in other's home you'll meet and talk with a lot of people.
It'll sure be a wonderful experience with great memories once you're back home.
Unfortunately i don't live in or near Paris, so i can't really help you.
But i wish you a very good luck for your journey. |

| Well, thanks for nice welcome! I won't thanks for all "Good lucks" - I don't know if this is in French culture, but in Polish culture we don't say "thanks", when it's for "good luck" to not lose any luck. I hope I've explained this enough good ^^' Even if you can't help me in Paris, maybe could you recommend beautiful places (landscapes or architecture), which I should visit in France too? Who knows, maybe I will be able to fit propositions in my plans? - Tyralosse a écrit:

Yes, I've heard about that stereotype that French really hate learning English. Is it really true? - Nargheil a écrit:

I'd like to see these places and hear of them as I cannot go myself. Or could, but won't for now. Usually I'm not doing photos... Dunno why. It's really occasional, when I'm doing photos of places I'm visiting - I've got really good memory and help from Facebook ^^' On my laptop I've got only a little part of photos from my previous trips (f.e. Stettin [Poland], Podlasie [Poland]), on my tumblr sometimes it's able to find photos of other places in Poland (f.e. Military Park in Varsovie). Photos from London unfortunately are gone - there were 200 photos and 3 movies... Photos from Croatia or Serbia and Bulgaria - mostly trips with family, a little with seights and all of them are on my parents computer, which is on other side of Poland (I moved for university). So I can show a little from my travels, but maybe in this thread, without creating new? Specially if I'm only English and Polish speaker, creating more English/Polish written topics wouldn't be very welcomed there. - Pr_Mafrost a écrit:

I hope you will find what you wanted. Thanks for explanations. To be honest I dunno how I should react, now I'm feeling like a Fluttershy :'D About advices - I was trying to add my ask for help in Meetings group, but I've gained a notification that I'm not supposed to create topics there. So I've thought that this place will be the best place for this. But thanks for advice, soon I should try in discussion place. And about misunderstood part of my 1st post - I've afraid I can't note this better. |

Where i live, my whole high school speak English) You could see the "Louvre", it's my favourite Museum, and my favourite place in Paris, but you should see the Eiffel Tower (obviously !) and "Notre dames de Paris" Good luck finding people and enjoy your trip (I hope my English is not that bad ) |

(I hope my English is not that bad ) Welcome. I've got most of Paris planned Eiffel Tower, Louvre (more from outside than inside because of cutting costs... ), Notre-Dame (I've read Victor Hugo's book, it was fantastic and Disney's "Notre Dame" which is so different than book was a big part of my life!), Versaille are on my list. But I guess there are more places to see in Paris and in other places in France. With second option I've got a problem, because in Poland mainly we're hearing about Paris and Marseille (Taxi movies!). Your English is pretty good! Maybe even better than mine - Azthorga a écrit:

And yes french don't like english, because it's hard to have a good pronunciation, and to write without mistakes Hi! My favourite pony is Princess Luna (in Poland I'm accused of being a huge Lunafag. Of course in jokes, I'm no Celestia hater), Pinkie Pie (in Pinkie & Pinkamena mode) and Twilight Sparkle. I've heard that French don't like English, because of history between French and English mainly. But it's also interesting reason too. English in my opinion isn't hard - you should try Polish language! For example all this message under your quote I will write down here in Polish, so you can check. "Cześć! Mój ulubiony kucyk to Księżniczka Luna (w Polsce oskarżają mnie o bycie wielkim Lunafagiem. Polish language is known as one of the hardest languages to learn. But French can be a problem for Polish too, because for example - if I'm not in mistake - you've got 7 types of "e", but in Poland we've got only one "e". |
